IAPSS supports Indiana superintendents by serving as a unified voice in legislative and policy conversations and by fostering a strong professional network. Through high-quality professional development, leadership-focused programs, and opportunities to collaborate with peers and state and national experts, the association strengthens school leadership, supports effective operations, and advances educational excellence across Indiana’s public schools.

  • Unified Voice

    IAPSS monitors state and federal legislative activity and provides a united voice for superintendents with the Indiana General Assembly, working to advocate for legislation to improve public education.

  • Network of Opportunity

    IAPSS often partners with the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA), the Indiana Association of School Business Officials (IASBO), and the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) to provide coordinated workshops for the combined memberships. We are an affiliate of the American Association of School Administrators (AASA), with three Indiana superintendents serving as past presidents of the national group.
