Communications and Stakeholder Engagement
Superintendent Leadership Excellence
Budget cuts and socioeconomic conditions require our Indiana public school superintendents to operate in an environment of rapid change and uncertainty. EPIC, an executive-level program led by experts from various areas, supports superintendents’ transformative leadership growth and helps them thrive in this new reality by fostering networking opportunities and promoting personal and professional well-being. Our presenters have a rich history of developing customized programming in which the participants can leverage the information and strategies shared to make progress toward addressing challenges in their districts.
EPIC Eligibility & Program Overview
EPIC is open to all public school superintendents who have completed their second year in the role. The program is scheduled for six, one-day sessions. Space is limited to 24 Superintendents per cohort, so interested individuals should apply now. The first meeting date is September 4, 2025. The superintendents’ investment in completing the EPIC program will be rewarded with professional growth point hours. EPIC Graduates who have demonstrated ongoing commitment to staying current and improving their leadership development skills will be given priority to serve as mentors for the Indiana Aspiring Superintendent Academy and the New Superintendent Mentor Program.
