Affiliate Sponsorship Program

Sponsors A-I Sponsors J-Z

The IAPSS Affiliate Sponsorship Program was initiated in 1997 as a means to further the work of the Association with particular emphasis upon the enhancement of in-service programming for the membership.  The demand for quality in-service endeavors has consistently increased in recent years for leadership within both the public and private sectors.

Superintendents understand the need for partnership support and involvement in this challenge.  It is because of the emphasis upon preparation and performance that the IAPSS pursued (and has received) approval by the Indiana Professional Standards Board as the primary agent for redefining administrative standards, training, assessment, and ultimately for obtaining certification leading to licensing as a District Level Administrator. In-service training for public school superintendents was recognized from the beginning as a critical component within the process of delivering education, just as continuing education has been recognized as the key to preparing for future challenges in business and industry.  The financial support of IAPSS Affiliate Sponsors has been of significant importance in securing access for Indiana superintendents and their assistants to the most prominent of experts in both school leadership and instruction.

A related goal for the Affiliate Sponsorship program involves renewed efforts to promote communication networks between the Association and the private sector.  It is within this process that we hope to ensure appropriate attention to the practical problems facing school corporations at the local level.  The interaction also serves to sensitize Affiliate Sponsors to some of the more serious pitfalls being promoted by self-serving entities, some of which are also within the private sector.  A very real advantage of the relationship, however, lies within the ongoing dialogue pertaining to the skills and proficiencies of our graduates as viewed by prospective employers.

As has been our practice from the inception of the program, an IAPSS Affiliate Sponsor must be recommended by an Association member or by Association leadership before invitations are mailed.   The role of the Association is documented within follow-up contacts to potential Affiliate Sponsors, including a list of benefits inherent to the sponsorship program.  Most of the benefits generate solely from intrinsic values inherent to the process of educating children and young adults.  For their efforts IAPSS Affiliate Sponsors receive:

  • opportunities to be heard and to exchange pertinent ideas about the delivery of educational services to Indiana youth,

  • opportunities to join with IAPSS members, associate members and other Affiliate Sponsors who are committed to the educational well-being of Indiana's young learners,

  • visibility among school corporation decision-makers, opportunities to sponsor and co-sponsor special IAPSS events, including featured speakers of reputation at state-wide conferences and seminars,

  • IAPSS position papers and other publications including information and research data processed through the IAPSS Information and Research Commission,

  • and the intrinsic reward for having helped to make a difference for Indiana's youth.

The current roster of IAPSS Affiliate Sponsors includes a broad scope of private and public sector interests.  Some are extremely large in size enjoying national and even international prominence.  Others have been engaged in providing quality service for the people of Indiana for years and are easily recognized not only by name but also by reputation.  And finally there are those that are within their development stages as an organization, offering not only their products and services, but also offering good will and firm commitment to public school education.  All are recognize by our membership as organizations dedicated to the goals and objectives of IAPSS.

At our invitation, some Affiliate Sponsors have submitted organizational profiles for use within our in-service programs and newsletters.  Other Affiliate Sponsors have elected not to submit profiles at this time but have furnished addresses and other contact information including the name(s) of representatives.  We have listed all in alphabetical order.
